Workout Tips

Getting started can be a little overwhelming.
Here are some tips that may be helpful:

Don't be shy about asking for help. Think of our staff as your personal concierge.

•Meet with a wellness coach. Once they understand your goals, they'll help you get started on the right foot.
   Call 285-0444 and set up an appointment!

•Get involved in a community. By participating in a class or a program you'll make some new friends and have a more meaningful experience.

•Participate with a friend or a buddy.

•Diversify your experiences. Variety is more fun.

•Make the Y part of your daily routine.
•Involve your entire family.

•Try the pool. There are activities for all ages.

•If you have a small child, go to ChildWatch with them. ChildWatch is the Y to them.

•Get involved with serving others. There will be opportunities at the South Suburban Y.
